A $300 thing. A few dents and dings and cracks. But no rust, a clean title, and a reasonable 165k miles!
It doesn’t run, but keep in mind I have two other first-gen Durangos to farm parts from. Right now, issue is believed to be a fuel pump. I can figure it out. Just got to get it towed back. By the way, this one is a 2000. It’s got the overhead computer, third row seats, and 4WD. Even over half a tank of gas!
Yeah, it is a little rough cosmetically but a rust free Durango around here, for that price? Unicorn!

Hmm, I suggest a slow constant dosage of Durango for, mmmm, 10 years or so then you will have enough for a fort.

Which motor? 318, right?
We had a few of these come in on trade for 4Runners, etc. They were good for what they were, a cheap utility vehicle that had enough power to pull things and not get stuck.
It was always scary to accelerate onto the 55-mph road in front of the dealership for the first time in a Durango that had just been moved spot to spot for 3 months. If the exhaust doesn’t get warm, there is a serious amount of crap that will blow from the tailpipe at 35mph WOT.

Wow. I like 1st gen Durangos, but 1 would be enough for me. At $300 though, it really would be hard to pass up.

It’s got the 4.7, so 278 or 283ci, something like that. But it still has decent pull.

Nice, I actually (for whatever reason) liked the 4.7L better. (Yes 283)

Last Durango I bought was exactly $1k. Still getting parts for it. It only has 60k or so on the engine, but way more on the body. This one I just bought has 165k on both.

It’s a stout motor. Both of the other ones I have share the same motor. It’s got some pull. The one my mom has is a 360 and its really got some grunt to it.

No way! My brother bought an identical Durango recently for $300. Same colour too.

My ‘95 Dakota was purchased with 180k on the clock for 900 bucks. I love cheap Dodges, especially when they are V8s

West by-god Virginia! I miss my home state. Durango’s are fairly popular down there if I remember correctly.
